Development of scientific foundations of the technology of cultivation of agricultural crops with the intensive use of the soil and climatic conditions of Western Kazakhstan;
Optimized protection of agricultural crops agrocenoses from pests and diseases in the conditions of the West Kazakhstan region;
Productivity of grain crops varieties in the West Kazakhstan region;
Study of the ecological state, determination of the energy productivity of the soil and vegetation cover and improvement of the technology of clonal micropropagation of plants;
Improvement of methods of processing, storage and processing of wheat grain and bakery products in the conditions of the West Kazakhstan region;
Improvement of diagnostic methods, prevention and control measures for infectious diseases of farm animals;
The dynamics of reproduction and the state of the population of background fish species;
Improvement and creation of factory lines and related groups of the Ankatinsky enlarged and Shagataisky lumpy types of the Kazakh white-headed breed using the gene pool of Herefords of foreign selection;
Creation of highly productive breeding herds of Simmental and Black-and-White breeds of cows using the gene pool of red-and-white and black-and-white Holstein in the farms of the West Kazakhstan region;
Improvement of the new Akzhaik breed of meat-wool crossbred sheep in the conditions of Western Kazakhstan;
Development of technology for the production of new building materials (foam glass, foam concrete, expanded clay, etc.) based on raw materials from Western Kazakhstan;
