
SDG 4. Quality education consists of 18 national indicators (https://stat.gov.kz/ru/sustainable-development-goals/goal/4/). Overall, there has been an improvement in many indicators. However, indicators related to inclusive education and infrastructure require special attention. Thus, the share of emergency schools increased from 0.4% to 0.7% during the analyzed period. In 2022, 81.8% of children aged 1 to 6 years and 98.5% of children aged 3 to 6 years were covered by preschool education and training. 3.1 million children, or 81.1%, were enrolled in additional education.
The University adheres to the policy of inclusivity, countering discrimination and providing equal access to quality education throughout life for all citizens of Kazakhstan and abroad, regardless of ethnic and gender identity, religion, health status (disability), social and financial status.
Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University creates all the necessary conditions for obtaining a high-quality education, provides assistance in obtaining all services of the Student Service Center, and allows people with disabilities to participate in the university’s social life.
