Today, the action “Get a vaccine, save your life” was held, organized by the youth public association “Integral” with the support of the Youth Policy Department of the West Kazakhstan region. The main goal of the campaign is to explain the importance of the vaccine for human life and to encourage students to get vaccinated. The vice-rector for Educational and Social Work of the University Akylbek Sultanov made a welcoming speech at the event. In his speech, the Vice-rector,
– There is only one way to defeat this life-threatening epidemic. This is vaccination. Thanks to the vaccination against coronavirus, you will ensure your safety, – he urged students to get the vaccine.
During the event, the university students performed concert numbers. The students also invited students entering the 1st year to get vaccinated.
– By getting a vaccine, we protect not only our health, but also our society as a whole from a pandemic. During the campaign, such important points as vaccination were explained to students entering the 1st year, – said Eskendir Serzhanovich, a 4th-year student of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the University.
The host of the event warned that incentive prizes will soon be raffled off among students vaccinated against coronavirus. Such an action was organized in four universities of the city.
