On December 14, a gathering of the best and activists took place at Zhangir khan university. It summed up the results of the outgoing year. Students who distinguished themselves by high achievements during the year were awarded.
On December 16, on the eve of the Independence Day of the RK, a traditional solemn event was held at the «Нұралы» cultural and leisure center, organized by the Center for the development of youth initiatives of the university. In his speech, vice-rector for academic affairs of the university Nurken Gubashev warmly thanked the invited guests on behalf of the university management and noted the importance of the event. The guests who spoke at the event also congratulated the best students of Zhangir khan university, noting that educated, well–mannered youth is the future of the new Kazakhstan.
During the festive event, students who achieved good results in education, art, and sports were awarded certificates of Honor and commemorative badges on behalf of the rector of the university, and letters of thanks were also presented to holders of Presidential scholarships and a number of active students. The winners of the «Білімділер додасы» intellectual competition, republican debate tournaments, and the «Жаңа толқын» regional student festival were also awarded. At the solemn event, talented university students sang and danced.
More than 150 students took part in the event.
