Earlier this week, representatives of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan arrived at Zhangir Khan University on a working visit.
Vice-Rector for Science of Zhangir Khan University Alzhan Shamshidin received Bahrom Kholkhuzhayev, Head of the Department for Policy Implementation in the field of Forestry, Biodiversity and Ecotourism, and Sarvar Akhmedov, Chief Specialist of the Department for the Development of Forests and Specially Protected Natural Territories and Combating Desertification, discussing with them the purpose of the delegation’s visit. As it became known, the purpose of the Uzbek delegation’s visit is to get acquainted with the experience of Zhangir Khan University scientists in breeding saigas in a nursery.
After that, the guests, together with university scientists, visited the Akboken nursery on the outskirts of the city, where they saw steppe animals with their own eyes and got acquainted with the work process.
