Teachers of the language development center and 1st year students took part in the international joint teleconference «Connecting Cultures Across the Globe» (Uniting cultures around the world), organized by the department of foreign languages of the Kazakh agrotechnical research university named after S. Seifullin.
The purpose of the teleconference is to discuss the problems of languages, multilingualism, intercultural communication, technologies and their impact on intercultural interaction, issues of global conditions and their impact on intercultural relations, critical discussion of the resolution of intercultural conflicts, ethics and language and cultural competencies.
Presentations on the topic of the teleconference were made by students of Zhangir khan university Yasmin Tlegen (BFA-11), Aigerim Bismanova (BFA-11), Mirkhat Amangeldiev. As a result of fruitful collaboration, diplomas were awarded to the participants of the event.
