On November 3-4, a Hackathon was held, organized by JAIQ IT HUB and KazIITU, in which the Vega Ventures team, which passed the business incubation program of the «West Startup Incubator» Business Incubator of Zhangir Khan ZKATU, took first place.
The best teams performed in the final, among which was the Vega Ventures team of graduate students of the Zhangir Khan State Technical University Vladimir Mysko, Arsen Zhaskhairatov, Tolegen Aibatullin, Sultan Sibagatov, Zarina Tulegalieva and a student of the 11th grade of the NIS FMN Zhuldyz Seitkalieva.
According to the team members, participation in this event was very interesting and useful and it was possible to win thanks to the ability to explore, experiment and find effective solutions to new tasks for themselves. The essence of their project was to develop an online platform for learning using artificial intelligence.
According to the head of the commercialization and business incubation Office of the university G.A. Ershova, the development of IT technologies and artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan is one of the most urgent tasks today. Participation in hackathons helps teams of innovative projects not only to develop breakthrough solutions, but also to share experiences, find like-minded people and potential business partners and/or investors.
The winners of the Hackathon received certificates and the main prize of $ 1,500 (for training in drone management in Aspan Drone).
