On behalf of the head of state, from September 1 of this year, scholarships to university students of the country will increase by 20%, undergraduates and doctoral students- by 15%.
This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science. Since September last year, the scholarship of students is 31,423 tenge, undergraduates – 76,950 tenge, doctoral students – 172,500 tenge. Now, starting from September of this year, scholarships for students will increase by another twenty percent. For example, students studying in the field of teacher training will receive a scholarship of more than 58 thousand tenge, students studying in other areas-about 37 thousand tenge. Scholarships for undergraduates will increase to 86,987 tenge, doctoral students- up to 195,000 tenge.
