The Laboratory of Biotechnology and Infectious Disease Diagnostics at Zhangir Khan University has successfully participated in the international ring test organized by ISAG (International Society for Animal Genetics) for determining the genetic profile of cattle and horses.
As a result of the testing, the laboratory of Zhangir Khan University was awarded Rank 1, confirming the high quality of its genetic research. This status indicates that the laboratory determines the genetic profile of animals with an accuracy of 98% to 100%, in accordance with global standards in the field of molecular genetics.
The laboratory continues to advance the scientific direction of livestock genetics, strengthening Kazakhstan’s position in the international community and opening new opportunities in the field of animal breeding.
