Scientists Participate in an International Seminar

Scientists from Zhangir khan University took part in the international seminar World Classifiers Workshop 2026, organized by the World Holstein-Friesian Federation, held in Budapest, Hungary, from April 14 to 17. The event brought together representatives from more than 40 countries.

The Kazakh delegation included representatives of Zhangir khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University NJSC, the Research and Production Center for Livestock and Veterinary Medicine LLP, and the Republican Chamber of Dairy and Dual-Purpose Cattle Breeds “QazaqSut.” The participation was carried out within the framework of the program-targeted financing of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, project BR22886157, titled “Management, Conservation and Rational Use of Genetic Resources of Dairy Cattle through Breeding, Technological and Molecular Genetic Methods.”

The seminar focused on dairy cattle evaluation and the improvement of breeding practices.

During the visit, the Kazakh delegation held a meeting with Mr. Abzal Saparbekuly, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary. The parties discussed the development of the dairy sector, the implementation of genomic technologies, and the expansion of international cooperation. Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation and implementing joint initiatives.
