A Museum-auditorium of geology has been opened at the Industrial and Technological Institute of Zhangir khan university.
In honor of the “Day of geologists”, which is celebrated on the first sunday of april, the museum auditorium was created by the faculty and students of the educational program 6B07204-“Geology and exploration of mineral deposits”.
The museum presents hydrocarbons, rocks, and minerals from various deposits collected by Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Professor Robert Musaevich Kurmangaliev and Associate Professor Amangeldy Bakhtygulovich Bakhtygulov, which were subsequently supplemented with the help of teachers and students.
Practical classes in the above-mentioned specialties are held in the museum auditorium: “Fundamentals of mineralogy of crystallography”, “Petrography”, “Lithology”.
It should be recalled that applicants accepted to the educational program 6B07204 – “Geology and exploration of mineral deposits”
In the 2021-2022 academic year, this academic year will be the first graduates to graduate from the university.
