From June 23 to 25, professional development courses for livestock graders-classifiers from the EAEU countries were held at the «Agro-Trade PV» LLP facility in the Pavlodar district of Pavlodar region. The event was organized by Zhangir khan university in cooperation with the Republican chamber of dairy and Dual-Purpose Cattle Breeds “QAZAQSUT”.
The training was conducted within the framework of the scientific and technical program BR22886157 titled «Management, Conservation, and Rational Use of Genetic Resources of Dairy Cattle Breeds through the Application of Breeding-Technological and Molecular-Genetic Methods». The course featured the participation of Mr. Tamás Sebők from Hungary, a leading international expert in linear conformation assessment of cattle.
The program was designed to enhance the professional skills of specialists in the field of conformation evaluation of pedigree cattle and to improve the accuracy and standardization of assessments in accordance with international standards set by ICAR and Interbull. The training included both theoretical sessions and practical demonstrations on live animals, along with experience sharing among specialists from the EAEU member states. Upon completion, participants received a professional development certificate.
