Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University is the base university for holding the II stage of the annual competition of research works of master's students in the educational program 7M07302 — "Land Management" and announces the start of accepting competitive documents.

From March 11 to April 11, a series of lectures was delivered at the Institute of Digital Economy and Sustainable Development by Foziljon Ergashevich Saitkulov, Associate Professor at Tashkent State Agrarian University.
The lectures were organized within the framework of the academic mobility program for undergraduate and master’s students enrolled in the Industrial Ecology educational program. The course covered key topics such as environmental safety, the greenhouse effect, and the ecological aspects of developing low-waste and resource-efficient technologies. Particular attention was given to contemporary challenges in waste processing and disposal in both agricultural and industrial sectors. The training combined theoretical foundations with practical applications and was characterized by active student engagement and discussion of pressing environmental issues. Modern teaching tools were widely employed, including virtual laboratory platforms and specialized software such as ChemDraw Ultra.
Overall, the lectures significantly contributed to enhancing students’ professional competencies, deepening their understanding of environmentally sustainable production, and fostering skills in the implementation of resource-saving and eco-friendly technologies.


The XXVI International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic “Meat Livestock Farming: Science, Technologies, Sustainable Development” was held at Zhangir Khan University.
The traditional conference, organized as part of Science Month, this year was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Kazakh White-Headed breed of cattle. The plenary session of the conference was attended by the Chairman of the Board and University Rector Askar Nametov, Director of the Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Baglan Aimyrzaev, Deputy Akim of the West Kazakhstan Region Kalyar Aitmukhambetov, representatives of the agricultural sector, as well as scientists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, and Russia.
During the meeting, the scientists discussed the role of beef cattle breeds in the comprehensive livestock development plan for 2026–2035, the current state and future prospects of the Kazakh White-Headed breed, DNA technologies as a tool for enhancing genetic potential in beef cattle breeding, line breeding in beef production, mobile production of organic fertilizers through the accelerated processing of agricultural waste, artificial insemination of cattle, as well as other актуальные issues in agriculture, and exchanged experience.
The conference continued with sectional sessions: “Agricultural Sciences,” “Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry,” “Technical Sciences,” and “Humanities and Economic Sciences.”





Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with representatives of the scientific community and awarded a group of scientists on the eve of the Day of Science Workers.
Among them is the head of the scientific research laboratory "Building Materials and Technologies" of the Zhangir khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Sarsenbek Montaev. The President awarded the West Kazakhstan scientist the Order of Parasat. During the meeting, making a speech, Sarsenbek Aliakbarovich noted that the state is currently paying special attention to the development of science and innovative projects and also stressed that he will continue to make every effort to increase the potential of domestic science. Sarsenbek Montayev, a graduate of the Bolashak International program has been working at Zhangir Khan University since 2005. The scientist is also one of the Kazakhstanis included in the list of the most respected scientists in the world.


Scientific - practical seminar titled “Land Relations and Sustainable Development of Land Management: 30 Years of Experience and Future Prospects” was held at Zhangir Khan University.
This event was attended was attended by the university’s faculty members, representatives of employer companies, business partners and alumni. Seminar was conucted as a part of the Month of Science in honor of the 30th anniversary of the «Land Management» and «Cadastre» educational programs.
There was presented historical establishment of the «Land Management and Cadastre» majors at Zhangir Khan University. In addition, reports such as: «Principles of Sustainable Development of Land Management and Their Implementation Practices,» «Current State and Development Prospects of Land Management» and «Innovative Methods for Improving Land Management Activities» were discussed at the scientific - practical seminar as well.
