Industry, innovation and infrastructure

SDG 9. Industrialization, innovation and infrastructure consists of 14 national indicators (https://stat.gov.kz/ru/sustainable-development-goals/goal/9 /). There is an annual increase in the share of GVA of medium-tech and high-tech industries in the total volume of GVA. If in 2018 the value of this indicator was 1.4%, then in 2023 it will be 2.4%.

To increase the engagement of students and staff, we plan to create platforms for the exchange of ideas and projects. By regularly holding various events, such as thematic seminars, symposiums, and green fairs, we hope to inspire our university community to apply sustainable practices in their daily lives.

We intend to stimulate developments focused on sustainable management, social responsibility and ethical entrepreneurship, as well as support startups dealing with environmental and social challenges.

Among the key aspects of our strategy is the support of scientific research in the field of sustainable development and the application of the results obtained in university practice. We will actively support interdisciplinary projects aimed at finding innovative solutions that help reduce the negative impact on nature and improve the quality of life.
