The scientists of Zangir Khan University and representatives of LLP “Turan PromResurs” met and made an important step towards sustainable development and commercialization of scientific research.
Representatives of the enterprise showed interest in the innovative technology developed by our university’s distinguished scientist, professor S. Montaev, titled “Method of Producing Concrete Pavement Blocks Using Glass Cullets.” They intend to implement this scientific discovery into production, which has been patented. After reaching a mutual agreement, both parties signed a licensing agreement, taking a step toward integrating science and industry.
The director of LLP “Turan PromResurs” Gulmarjan Ukasheva, also expressed her joy over the scientific achievements of local researchers.
In the future, as part of the agreement, technological devices necessary for production based on the scientific development will be obtained. According to the business plan, the manufacturing enterprise will produce pavement blocks with the addition of glass cullets. The university’s scientists will closely collaborate with the production process, participating in the preparation and market introduction of the building material.
According to our scientists, this is the first licensing agreement in the university’s history. This initiative will continue, and there is great hope that other scientific projects based on new technologies will find their way into production.
