For the first time in the city of Oral, a digital technologies and innovation festival titled «IT SPEAKERS DAY» was held. Its main purpose was to provide information about the development level of the IT sector and artificial intelligence in the region, develop digital skills and creative thinking among school and university students, encourage project development, and promote the exchange of experience.
Students majoring in «Information Systems and Technologies» and «Agroinformatics» at Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University took part in the festival. During the event, second-year students Yeler Brmanov, Sabit Sultan, Talap Yerassyl, and Ernar Merkhanov, under the supervision of senior lecturer and Master of Technical Sciences Anargul Bekenova, presented projects developed with the help of artificial intelligence on topics relevant today. The students presented their projects to the audience at a high professional level.
Ernar Merkhanov, a student of Zhangir Khan University, won a grant for the «Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence» course from the «Batys Hub» Innovation Center. The festival left positive impressions on the participants.
