Zhangir khan university students Yasmin Tlegen and Shahbozbek Yigitaliyev took part in an english language discussion conference organized by the U.S. Embassy in Astana under the guidance of english language assistant Calla Li of the Fulbright program. A total of 19 teams from all over Kazakhstan took part in the competition. Our team took the third place in the West Kazakhstan group. In addition to the conference, students participated in cultural events and master classes. The purpose of the conference was to improve the level of English and strengthen ties between the embassy and the university.
