On November 9, Zhangir khan university hosted the traditional «Freshman» event. This year’s event is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the university.
The event was organized by the Center for the Development of youth initiatives of the university. According to the organizers, the purpose of this event is to create opportunities for the exchange of experience between creative youth, effective organization of leisure time for students and their involvement in cultural, socio-political life. The first-year students of each institute who participated in the competition performed in the following nominations: “Modern and patriotic song”, “Kazakh choreography of national and modern direction”, “Zhaydarman”, “Playing instruments”, “Artistic reading”, “Directing”, “Presenters”, “Video Clip”, “Best mobilographer”. The jury of the competition consisted of popular owners of the arts of our region. At the end of the competition, the names of the winners and prize-winners became known.
