Today at our university has started a women’s volleyball tournament among students from Western regional universities.
The opening ceremony began with a welcoming speech by the Chairman of the Board – Rector Askar Nametov and the representative of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of WKR Dauren Mukanov. The tournament was attended by the teams of Atyrau University named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov,
West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov, West Kazakhstan Engineering and Technology University, West Kazakhstan University named after Makhambet Utemisov, as well as the team of WKATU named after Zhangir Khan.
Volleyball games will continue tomorrow. According to the results of the competition, the teams that took first and second places will advance to the republican stage.
