May 25 at the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after Kanysh Satpayev held a round table on the topic «Ways to identify and solve problems of Kazakh science». Director of the «Test Center» of Zhangir Khan ZKATU Indira Beishova also took part in this meeting and exchanged views with colleagues.
The event, organized by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was attended by famous young scientists of the country.
At the round table, the president of the academy, Kunsulu Zakaria, drew attention to ways to meet the needs of society and the importance of science in the country’s economy. Vice-President of the academy Askar Zhumadildayev focused on the main priorities of the development of science, such as the availability of the Kazakh language as the language of science, the promotion of science, improving the quality of textbooks in higher educational institutions.
In her report, the young scientist of Zhangir Khan University Indira Saltanovna voiced a number of proposals that will raise the potential of science. In particular, such issues as improving the equipment of laboratories of regional universities, making changes to the tender documentation of grant and program-target projects, making changes to the tender documentation of the competition aimed at grant funding of young scientists under the «Zhas Galym» project were touched upon.
