Took care of nature

Recently, students of Zhangir Khan WKAU took part in the campaign “Collecting seeds for the future forest”. The action was held on the initiative of the public organization “West Kazakhstan Ecological and Geographical Society”. The participants of the action collected seeds in the area of the forestry enterprises “Trekino”, “Darinskoe” and “Yanvartsevo”. 4th year students of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry majoring in Ecology under the guidance of senior lecturer, Master of Natural Sciences Akkereeva Elmira Karshigievna and together with eco-activists and school students collected about 60 kg of seeds. Seeds for future planting were transferred to the January KSU for the Protection of Forests and Wildlife. For their active participation in the event, our students received a letter of thanks from the chairman of the public organization EGO WKO, Sariev Darkhan.
