Meeting with representatives of the Russian University

On February 8, 2022, Askar Nametov held a regular meeting with the leadership of the Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation

The Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis trains specialists in bachelor’s, master’s and postgraduate programs in the field of information technology, information security in automated systems, the construction of complex financial models, including those based on the processing of large amounts of data.

The meeting was the second in a row since the beginning of the academic year. On the part of the Financial University, the meeting was attended by:  Soloviev Vladimir , Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis, Head of the Department of Data Analysis and Machine Learning, Doctor of Economics, Gataullin Sergey, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis for International Projects, Candidate of Economics, Korchagin Sergey, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis for Research, Candidate of Physics and Mathematics. sciences’.

During the meeting, issues of mutual cooperation between our universities in the field of joint training, research, technology transfer and development were discussed.

In particular, further steps of cooperation on the development and implementation of dual degree programs in the areas of master’s degree in “Mechatronics and Robotics”, “Applied Informatics”, “Quantitative methods and data analysis in Economics” were outlined. They also discussed the possibility of joint participation in projects for the development of carbon balance control technologies and the transfer of developments of the Financial University in the field of agricultural engineering.
