On June 22, the scientific staff of the West Kazakhstan agrarian technical university named after Zhangir Khan on the basis of the «Aktobe Agricultural Experimental Station» LLP within the framework of the program of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan BR10764981 «Development of technologies for effective management of the selection process of conservation and improvement of genetic resources in beef cattle breeding» held a scientific and practical seminar.
The seminar was attended by agricultural producers, livestock specialists, veterinarians, farm managers: peasant farms «Zhailau», «Asem», «Bayterek», «Yntymak», «Islambek», «NurMTS», «Bolashak», Department of Agriculture and land Relations of Aktobe region, students of Aktobe Higher Agricultural College, and others. At the seminar, university scientists presented the basics of breeding work in meat husbandry, reported the results of research based on tests of bulls on their own productivity, the results of evaluation of breeding bulls on the quality of offspring.
