At the Zhangir khan university, a ceremony was held to award the winners of the competition “Best social project for increasing the volume of sorted waste delivered to Eco-points”, organized by the company LLP “Oral Taza Service”.
The company has been involved in waste collection, sorting, and recycling for over 10 years, aiming to make the city cleaner and greener through responsibility, environmental friendliness, and sustainable development, which aligns with sustainable development goals 11 and 12.

The goal of the competition is to foster environmental culture and implement solutions that benefit both people and nature, as well as to conduct active work in the field of education and promote conscious consumption and waste reduction among the local population.
The results of the competition were as follows:
1st place, with a prize fund of 200,000 tenge, was awarded to the students of NIS 11th and 12th grades. Their project focused on separate waste collection before reaching the trash container, with a device that allows sorting waste by fractions. The Tazalyg team presented a model to the jury.
2nd place went to Qunayish Bek Mukhituly, a student of grade 7 “B” at school №51, with a prize fund of 150,000 tenge. He presented a project involving developmental toys for young children made from regular paper cups, used straws, and boxes from natural juice.
3rd place was awarded to Ayulym Zhamelova, a 7th-grade student from school №44, with a prize fund of 100,000 tenge. Her project involved creating crafts from waste materials in the form of original wall decorations, flower pots, and more.
