A roundtable discussion on the topic «Абай мұрасы – рухани құндылықтардың қайнар көзі»’ was held at Zhangir khan university, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the great kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev.
The event was organized by the center for general development and vocational teacher training in collaboration with the “Parasat” IEC. At the beginning of the meeting, vice-rector for educational and social affairs Akylbek Sultanov emphasized that Abai’s creative work laid the foundation for the development of Kazakh literature and culture, and that his philosophical ideas had a profound impact on the spiritual growth of the nation.
Following this, university scholars and lecturers Tilekzhan Khasenovich, Venera Aubekerovna, director of the “Parasat” IEC Aigul Bazarovna, and senior lecturer of the language development center Akkerbez Yerbolatovna took the floor. They shared their reflections on the life of the great thinker and poet, his instructive works, cultural legacy, and wise teachings.
As part of the roundtable discussion, a video prepared by the center for general development and vocational teacher training was presented. Additionally, the event participants – students – listened to excerpts from the poet’s poems and songs.
