The appointment
A reserve officer who has completed training at the military department in the specialty "Veterinary and sanitary expertise" is prepared for military service during both peacetime and wartime as a junior-level commander.
Qualification Requirements
A reserve officer must:
- Having a high level of tactical, tactical-specialized, fire, and technical training;
- Possess solid knowledge of basic and specialized disciplines, and the ability to apply this knowledge in practical activities;
- Be able to maintain high combat and mobilization readiness of the unit, ensure strict military discipline and adherence to regulations, and utilize military pedagogy and psychology in the training and education of subordinates;
- Hold knowledge of veterinary legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the organization of veterinary activities in various sectors of the national economy, the forms and methods of work for veterinary specialists, the economic efficiency of veterinary measures, and acquire organizational and economic skills for a veterinary doctor.
As a result of the study, the student must
Know:
- the subject and objectives of tactics, basic tactical concepts, terms and definitions;
- the history of creation, structure, tasks and prospects of development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the role and purpose of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- the nature of modern warfare, the means of armed struggle used, the basics of modern combined arms combat and its main types;
- Ways and means of managing units in combat;
- purpose, tactical and technical characteristics and general design of weapons, purpose and combat capabilities of BMP weapons;
- rules and tasks of the veterinary and sanitary service at the state border in the field of control of products and raw materials of animal origin, measures of the veterinary service to protect military personnel from diseases common to humans and animals.
Be able to:
- Organize squad, platoon combat and manage units in combat;
- use training devices and technical training equipment in fire training classes;
- fire and perform shooting exercises defined by the program;
- Control platoon fire in various types of combat day and night;
- analyze and assess the situation of the veterinary service;
- carry out mobilization work on veterinary services in the institution;
- organize, keep records and make reports on the veterinary service.
Develop skills:
- in the organization of the main types of combined arms combat by a motorized rifle
- platoon, solving management, support and interaction issues;
- calculating the combat capabilities of a motorized rifle squad, platoon in defense and offensive;
- confident actions with a weapon during shooting training and shooting;
- in use, in carrying out maintenance, repair of infantry fighting vehicles.
