A reserve officer who has completed a course of military training in the specialty "Operation and repair of automotive equipment" is intended for service in peacetime and wartime in units and divisions, in primary officer positions.

The reserve sergeant must:

• have a high level of tactical, tactical-special, military-technical and general military training;
• have solid knowledge of basic and specialized disciplines, skills of applying this knowledge in practice;
• be able to maintain high combat and mobilization readiness of the unit, firm military discipline and statutory order.

To know:

• the organization of the operation of military vehicles in peacetime and wartime;
• maintenance system adopted in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, mobile maintenance facilities;
• organization of storage of military vehicles; the procedure for checking and evaluating the condition of military vehicles;
• organization of the park service and security measures during the operation of military vehicles.
Be able to:
• ensure and maintain constant combat readiness of the unit's vehicles;
• perform technical diagnostics and maintenance using mobile and stationary means;
• maintain documentation on accounting, decommissioning and planning the operation of military vehicles;
• carry out measures to prevent road accidents.
