Higher School “Mechanical Engineering”

The Higher School of Mechanical Engineering trains bachelors in the following educational programs:

– 6B07103 – “Mechanical engineering”;

– 6В07102 – “Machinery and equipment for extractive industries”;

– 6В07104 – “Mechatronics”:

– 6В07107 – “Robotic systems”.

Training of specialists is carried out by qualified professors, associate professors, masters and production specialists.

Students gain knowledge about modern mechanical engineering technologies, master programming of all types of machines with numerical control, and the operation and repair of technological machines and equipment.

Currently, the main trend has become automation and robotization of process control systems. For this purpose, new educational programs were developed and introduced into the educational process – “Mechatronics” and “Robotic systems”. Educational programs cover the fields of mechanics, information systems and electronics.

The higher school has specialized laboratories, computer and multimedia classes. The training laboratory “Programming for processing parts on CNC machines and automation of technological processes” is equipped with modern equipment, in particular, milling and laser machines, and a 3D printer.

The Robotics educational laboratory is equipped with modern laboratory stands:

1. “Start in mechatronics”;

2. Programmable logic controller SIEMENS 1200+;

3. Mechatronic module with an industrial robot;

4. Fundamentals of digital and microprocessor technology;

5. Electrical automation of the ROBIN-Electro robot.

To conduct professional practices and conduct practice-oriented classes, agreements have been concluded with the following industries: West Kazakhstan Machine-Building Company JSC, Ural Mechanical Plant LLP, Ural Transformer Plant LLP, KPO b.v. JSC etc.

All educational programs are accredited by the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA).
