The Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the start of the competition «The best teacher of the university».
Teachers of higher and postgraduate education can take part in it. Teachers who have continuous scientific and pedagogical experience of at least 5 years and high achievements in pedagogical and scientific activities are allowed to participate in the competition.
To participate in the competition, candidates from among regular teachers of higher and (or) postgraduate educational organizations shall submit documents through the Information System of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the competition “The best teacher of higher education institution” – to improve the professional and pedagogical culture of university teaching staff, the level of teaching, methodological and educational work, stimulation and motivation of teachers to further professional development.
The competition is held in two stages – intra-university and Republican.
To participate in the first stage of the competition, full-time university teachers submit the following documents through the information system of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (universitycontest.iac.kz.):
1) an application form for participation in the competition for the title «Best University Teacher», in accordance with Appendix 1 to these Rules;
2) information in accordance with qualitative and quantitative indicators, in accordance with Appendix 2 to this order (data for the last 5 years, except for items with specific dates);
3) annual work schedule, in accordance with Appendix 3 to these Rules;
4) personal sheet for personnel records;
5) a copy of an identity document.
The first stage starts on November 1 and will last until November 10, 2023.
Reception of appeals for the first stage of the competition will take place from November 11 to 15, 2023.
The Republican stage will take place from November 17 to December 15, 2023.
