Representatives of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Aktobe have arrived at Zhangir Khan University.
Nurken Gubashev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University, who received the foreign delegation, noted that the university maintains partnerships with the People’s Republic of China, including with Chinese universities. The Ambassador of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Aktobe, Guo Yu, noted that Zhangir Khan University is recognized as one of the authoritative and leading higher educational institutions in the country. Zamzagul Sultanova, Head of the International Cooperation Department at WKATU, told the guests about the university’s current activities, its scientific potential and international relations. In particular, she said that Zhangir Khan University maintains partnerships with Tarim University in China, Northwestern University of Agriculture and Forestry, China Petroleum University and Beijing University of Forestry.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of international cooperation between the two countries, as well as ongoing work in the field of higher education and considered mechanisms for establishing effective cooperation in the future.
