A meeting was held at Zhangir Khan University aimed at preventing religious extremism and terrorism among young people, as well as promoting national values. The meeting was attended by Vice-rector for Educational and Social Work of the University Akylbek Sultanov, Deputy Head of the Center for Religious Studies of the West Kazakhstan Region, theologian Abduvahid Babakhanov, head of the Kadyr Myrza Ali Center for Culture and Art, cultural activist, historian Dauletkery Kusainov, senior lecturer at the Center for Teaching Humanities and Sports Disciplines of the West Kazakhstan Region, PhD, Doctor of Philosophy Maksot Dzhangozhiev, as well as teachers and students. During the event, the participants discussed the signs of destructive religious movements and ways to prevent them, the continuity of traditional Islam and national spiritual values, as well as the importance of improving religious literacy among young people
