Today, Zhangir Khan University hosted a meeting with representatives of the Department of Ecology of the West Kazakhstan Region.
The event, organized by the Institute of Digital Economy and Sustainable Development, was opened by the Director of the Institute, Aizhan Ibyzhanova, who welcomed the guests and introduced them to the students. Following this, the Head of the Department, Murat Yermekkaliev, provided an overview of the department’s functions, key areas of work, and the current environmental situation in the region.
Zhangir Khan University has been cooperating with the regional Department of Ecology since 2010. Since 2019, the department has also participated as an employer in the university’s Industrial Ecology educational program, enabling future environmental specialists to undertake internships and enhance their professional expertise.
