Two scientific projects of Zhangir khan ZKATU have won grant funding for commercialization.
Zhangir khan university is the largest multidisciplinary university, which is an innovation hub and makes a great contribution to the industrial and innovative development of the western region of Kazakhstan.
ZKATU is a university with a developed scientific and innovative infrastructure, where an effective technological system is built «from idea generation to its commercialization». Thanks to the successful work of the office of «Technology commercialization and business incubation» under the leadership of Gulshat Ayesheva, funds are attracted from various national and international sources, as well as research results are used.
Innovations have been and remain an integral and important part of the scientific, technological and educational activities of Zhangir khan agrarian and technical university. This year, as a result of fruitful cooperation with business partners, two university projects won the competition of JSC «Science foundation» for the commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities (for 2024-2026). The total cost of the projects is 1 billion. 280 million tenge, including co–financing – 606 million tenge.
The first project on the topic: «Cultivation of high-protein forage crops under irrigation in the dry–steppe zone of the West Kazakhstan region» and the second – «Innovative technology for the production of compound feeds for fish, birds and farm animals». These innovative projects are aimed at introducing innovative technologies and developments of university scientists: associate professor, candidate of technical sciences Marat Onaev and head of the laboratory, candidate of agricultural sciences Yerkingali Batyrgaliev.
