In the period from April 18 to 28, scientists from leading universities of the West Kazakhstan region, within the framework of the Unilink program, successfully completed advanced training courses in «Financial Management and commercialization of research» at Rutgers University in the USA.
Among them are the head of the science department of Zhangir khan university Indira Beishova, and the head of the AgroTech Hab project office Yerasyl Dulatbai. The course covered the areas of commercialization of food safety and innovation, bioinformatics, animal and plant genetics, and organic food. The purpose of the program is to strengthen financial management practices, expand research administration capabilities and accelerate the commercialization of scientific results. The parties agreed to sign a cooperation agreement for the development and implementation of funded projects between Kazakhstan and the United States aimed at strengthening Kazakhstan’s competencies in innovative technological solutions.
