On November 9-10, in honor of the 60th anniversary of Zhangir khan university, an open volleyball tournament among girls was held.
The main goal of the competition is to promote a healthy lifestyle among teenagers and young people, career guidance for school graduates.
In total, 9 teams took part in the two day competition: Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov, Aktobe regional university named after K.Zhubanov, West Kazakhstan university of innovation and technology, West Kazakhstan university named after M.Utemisov, Zhangir khan state technical university and teams from different districts.
As a result of the competition, the 3rd place was taken by the team of Baiterek district, and the 2nd place was taken by the team of Aksay youth sports school. The WKATU named after Zhangir khan team won the 1st place. In addition, Liyana Baibatyrova became the «Best striker», Saule Myrzagalieva the «Best defender», Malika Ishangalieva the «Best player», Dilara Kaziullina the «Best linker».
