To attract students to scientific activities in the oil and gas and chemical-technological direction at the Higher School of Oil, Gas and Chemical Engineering, a student scientific circle “Oilman” was opened. At the last fair of scientific circles, about twenty students of different specialties signed up for it.
The first meeting of the scientific circle was held on November 26, 2021.
An introductory speech was given to the senior teacher of the higher school, Kupeshova Altynai Sakhipkereevna, who said that scientific activity is one of the integral part of the education of students and the training of qualified specialists who are able to independently solve professional, scientific and technical problems.
Further at the meeting, the senior lecturer Nurmash Nurlan Kelisovich made a presentation on “Possibilities of simulation in the oil and gas industry”. Also, the prepared reports were made by the students of the GRPI-12 and GRPI-13 groups.
