On May 18, WKATU hosted a job fair for students of 2,3,4 courses in all specialties. From the «Technology of food and processing industries» higher school were invited LLP «Пойма Май Комбинаты», RMK «ҚазСтандарт», LLP «Жайық Агро ЛТД», LLP «Uralsk Trade Company», etc. The main purpose of the job fair is to organize contact between employers and educational institutions, as well as to organize the issues of training in accordance with the needs of the labor force in the labor market and the opportunity to find potential personnel for themselves.
As part of the job fairs, the Higher School «Food and processing technologies» organized a round table «New technologies – a step into science», which was attended by the faculty of the higher school and employers. At this event, the educational programs of undergraduate and graduate programs in the following specialties were discussed: 6B07200 – «Production of food products», 6B07201 – «Technology of processing industries», 6B07203 – «Food safety», 6B07500 – «Standardization, certification and metrology», and 7M07201, 7M07211 – «Technology of processing industries» (1.5 and 2 years), 7M07203, 7M07213 – «Food safety» (1.5 and 2 years).
As a result of the round table, employers made their proposals and recommendations on major disciplines studied in higher education.
