Higher School of Electrical Engineering and Automation

The development of the Higher School of Electrical Engineering and Automation begins with the Department of Mechanization of Livestock Farms, founded in 1966. Kulpin P.I. was appointed head of the department. This composition included Ph.D. S.Sh. Dzhubaev, senior lecturer V.N. Danilov, teachers Y.G. Pulishchuk and B.V. Nechaev, Master of Industrial Training S.N. Anishchenko.

From 1968 to 1978, the department was headed by Sergey Dzhubaev. His main efforts were aimed at equipping the educational laboratories of the department in new buildings. Such laboratories as “Milking cows and primary milk processing”, “Sheep shearing and primary wool processing”, “Forage preparation and forage harvesting machines”, “Educational and research work of students”, “Hydraulics and agricultural water supply”, “General electrical engineering”, “Electric drive and application of electricity in agricultural production” were organized.

During this period, associate professor S.F. Merzlyakova, who graduated from graduate school in Chelyabinsk, senior lecturer Filimonov E.N., assistants A.P. Vichutkin, M.E. Konevtsev and M.K. Braliev, laboratory assistant S. Belov are invited to the department.

From 1978 to 1987, Duisekenov K.M. was elected head of the department. In November 1984, the department “Automation and Electrification of agricultural production” was allocated from the department “Mechanization of livestock farms”. The head of the department was appointed Candidate of Technical Sciences Alikhanov Jahfer.

In 1988, the departments “Mechanization of livestock farms” and “Automation and electrification of agricultural production” were merged and the department “Mechanization and Automation of Animal Husbandry” was formed, the head of which is elected by competition associate professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences Shchurikhin Vladimir Konstantinovich. From 1993 to 1995, being the rector of the West Kazakhstan Agricultural Institute, the head of the department “Mechanization and automation of animal husbandry” S.Sh. Dzhubaev was elected by competition. In 1995, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Aytaliev Ermek was appointed head of the Department “Mechanization and Automation of Animal Husbandry”. In 2000-2001, Associate Professor Nail Dzhaparov was the head of the department, and in 2001 Associate Professor Alexandra Vichkutkina was elected head of the Department of “Energy”. In 2005, the head of the Department of “Energy” was elected Ph.D., associate Professor Sarzhanov Kazhabergen. In 2007, Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences Zheksembieva Nazym was elected head of the Department of “Energy”. In 2016, an associate professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences was appointed head of the Department of “Energy”. Tulegenov Kubaidulla. In 2019, the department was renamed the Higher School of Electrical Engineering and Automation. At the beginning of the 2019-2020 academic year, due to structural changes at the university, Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences Sadykova Lyazat was approved as the head of the higher school.

 In December 2020, due to changes at the university, the head of the higher school was approved by the senior lecturer, Ph.D. (Ph.D.) Dzhaparova Dinara.

Since August 15, 2022, the head of the Higher School of Electrical Engineering and Automation was appointed Acting Associate Professor, PhD Yerbol Yerbayev.
