Students of the «Industrial ecology» educational program of Zhangir Khan university visited 8 waste recycling enterprises in the cities of Uralsk and Aksai, as a result of which a round table was held.
This event was organized under the guidance of teachers of the higher school «Animal Husbandry and bioresources» (B. Gubasheva, G. Kairgalieva, Е. Akkereeva) as part of the 60th anniversary of the university and the social project «Recycling – a tool for environmental education of youth» and the 12 sustainable development goals «ensuring a rational model of consumption and production».
This round table was attended by representatives of the ecology department of the West Kazakhstan Region of the committee for environmental regulation and control of the ministry of ecology, geology and natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, «Oral Taza Service» LLP, IP «Usenova», «UTPC» LLP, «Altyn Alma Stroy» LLP, Dream House CG LLP, «Demtec Solutions» LLP, «KAMA CENTER» LLP, was attended by the heads of the «American Corner Oral» and ecoclub «EcoHab». During the meeting, the speakers told about their production, the problems they face, and the intended goals. An agreement was also reached on the conclusion of memoranda of cooperation with these enterprises. The possibility of students undergoing practical training and employment of graduates, joint management of scientific and business projects was discussed.
