On October 10, a practice-oriented activity (POA) on the specialty «Oil and Gas Processing» on the discipline «Technopechanical control of oil and gas processing production» with NGDP-41 group students on the basis of the West Kazakhstan branch of JSC «National Center for Expertise and Certification» in the oil products laboratory.
During the training, leading engineer-technologist of JSC «NACEX» Nursultan Sarsengaliev announced the rules of safety in the laboratory and acquainted students with physico-chemical methods of analysis of fuel quality: determination of fractional composition on the APHC device, Dyna-Stark water, active sulphur (RFA), coking capacity, evaporation, density, kinematic viscosity, motor octane, flammability, filtration rate, chromaticity, etc.
Carrying out the POA on discipline «Technochemical control of production of oil and gas processing» contributes to formation of knowledge of students of technical specialties in the field of theory and practice of rational use of motor fuels, independently to carry out an experiment, determine the class of petroleum products, experimentally assess the quality and give recommendations on the use of this sample of petroleum products.
