This year, the West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University named after Zhangir Khan has been involved in the activation of the work of the youth labor detachment «Zhasyl El».
Students of the university have been employed in the labor detachment «Zhasyl El» since June of this year. In general, the final stage is currently working on the three streams of the involved detachments.
According to the deputy director of the educational institution «Center for the Development of Youth Initiatives» Meiram Ospanov, a total of 123 students are covered during the labor season. – The «Zhasyl El» detachment is provided with special clothing, free hostel. During the summer months, they carried out landscaping, construction and repair work on the territory of the university. The students worked in three streams, currently 43 students are working at the third stage. Our university, as the employer’s side, pays these students an additional salary in the amount of 42500 tenge. By the way, this season the «Zhangir Khan orchard» appeared on the territory of the educational institution, – added Meiram Maratovich.
As whole, more than 1,000 young people have been employed under the “Zhasyl El” program in the West Kazakhstan region this year. In addition, at the initiative of the akim of the region, about 500 young people were taken into construction teams under a special quota.
