Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University signed an agreement with College of Plants and Pastures, College of Agronomy of Northwest University of Agriculture and Forestry, Limited Liability Partnership “Ural Agricultural Experimental Station” and Xi’an Hetu Trading Company Ltd.
All four parties agreed to cooperate in education, scientific research, transformation of achievements and international cooperation under the “One Belt, One Road” initiative in agriculture to establish a demonstration base for agricultural plant cultivation and agro-technological research. This base will include the following areas: agronomy, ecological testing of crops, innovation in the process of developing new varieties, evaluation of crop adaptability, fundamental research in the field of cultivation of agricultural plants, technologies of agricultural production.
The work of the base will be carried out within the framework of international cooperation in the fields of education, agronomy, scientific research, transformation of achievements and international cooperation of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.
