At the exhibition held in Almaty, a scientific and technical program titled «Development of Technologies and Methods for Forage Harvesting in Kazakhstan’s Pasturelands within the Framework of Sustainable Management» was presented among more than 40 scientific projects. The program is led by Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Beibit Nasiyev. The program is aimed at addressing the key issue of feed production — the problem of feed protein deficiency — as well as increasing the overall efficiency of the livestock industry and contributing to the socio-economic, scientific, and technological development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main focus of the program is to solve priority tasks outlined in major strategic documents on ensuring food security and advancing agricultural development in RK.
This scientific project, which is of significant importance for Kazakhstani farmers engaged in sustainable feed production for the livestock sector, was implemented by researchers in 2023–2025. As a result of the research, various events were organized, articles were published in international journals, and research findings were presented at international conferences. In addition, eight utility model patents of the Republic of Kazakhstan were obtained. A number of domestic higher education institutions and research centers participated in the research activities. Overall, the project involved 6 PhD doctoral candidates, 17 master’s students, and 21 undergraduate students.
The scientific project was presented to the exhibition guests by Madiyar Khiyasov, a lecturer at Zhangir Khan University, head of the Agrochemical Analysis Laboratory, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). The young scientist participated in the implementation of this project as a research associate.
