Scientific internship at St. Petersburg polytechnic university

Last week, scientists from the institute of economics, information technology and vocational education Elvira Rustenova and Aizhan Ibyzhanova completed a scientific internship at Peter the Great St. Petersburg polytechnic university within the framework of the project «Development of a set of models for the digital transformation of agro-industrial enterprises, taking into account the adaptation of business processes to changing consumer requirements and the global economic environment». SPbPU is the largest technical university in the Russian Federation with historically established strongest scientific schools, having undeniable results and achievements in scientific, educational and innovative activities. The university is positioned as a world-class scientific center for «Advanced digital technologies», whose mission is to create multidisciplinary scientific knowledge, high-tech technologies and world-class digital platform solutions.

During the internship, lectures and seminars were organized on the topics of organizational reengineering and digital transformation in the agro-industrial sector, case studies and discussions with researchers from the Laboratory «Modeling and digitalization of socio-economic systems», excursions to leading agro-industrial enterprises and laboratories in St. Petersburg and surrounding regions, meetings with business representatives to discuss them experience in the implementation of digital technologies. In addition, our teachers took part in the fifth international scientific conference «GDTM-2024: Global Challenges of digital Transformation of markets.
