«Kanysh Satpayev – the Pride of the Nation» event was organized in honor of Science Month and Geologist’s Day at Zhangir khan University.
The event at the Geological Museum of the Industrial and Technological Institute was attended by the Institute Director Askar Bakushev, faculty members and students of the educational program «Mining and Mineral Extraction». In addition, Manarbek Zhumabay – the head of the «Zerek» Center was invited as a guest.
The organizers first focused on the biography of the geologist, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences Kanysh Satpayev, highlighting his contribution to the development of national science and his professional career. Manarbek Zhumabay presented his speech on the topic «The Ideal of Kazakh Society». The event continued with an intellectual game titled «Geological Quiz».
