From 28 to 30 June, representatives of Zhangir Khan University (ZKATU) led by Vice-Rector for Science Alzhan Shamshidin and Head of AGROTECHUB Erasyl Dulatbay visited Tarim University.
Rector of Tarim University Mr Yan Xianglin in his welcoming speech to the guests stressed the importance of cooperation between the universities of the two countries. At the meeting with the leaders of Tarim University, they discussed the possibility of establishing a representative office of Tarim University with the subsequent opening of the “Food Safety” laboratory within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. The laboratory will conduct research in the field of food safety and certification, as well as selection of horse breeds to improve breed qualities. In addition, the representative office will facilitate the exchange and training of master’s and doctoral students.
In general, the meeting left only positive impressions. At the end, the parties wished each other success in new endeavours and fruitful cooperation!
