Paid attention to the oil and gas sector

On November 30, at the Higher School of Oil, Gas and Chemical Engineering, the section of the International Association of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) held a special event for students of the 1st year of technical direction.

The purpose of the event was to orient students in the direction of collecting, distributing and exchanging information on the oil and gas industry and to provide an opportunity to increase the level of students’ knowledge and demand in the labor market, as well as to replenish the SPE with new members.

In general, in accordance with the work plan of this section for the year, the organization of an English language club for the purpose of mastering the language of SPE members, preparation and participation in seminars, lectures, conferences, startup projects and competitions of National and international level, which are traditionally held during the year by well-known world oil companies.

Having presented a special presentation in this direction, Associate professor and head of this section Bakytzhan Burkhanov invited students to become members of the organization, bringing the achievements of SPE members over several years.

At the end of the event, the participants asked their questions to the head of the section about joining the SPE. The work of the section for students ended with the presentation of the new head of the section, a young scientist, PhD Adilzhan Kydrashov, and registration work.
