Faculty of Information Technologies and Big Data Analysis of the Financial University and the West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University named after Zhangir Khan intends to jointly develop projects to create “smart” agricultural solutions.
Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Big Data Analysis of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation V. I. Solovyov discussed possible areas of cooperation with the Rector of the West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University named after Zhangir Khan (WKAU) A.M. Nametov. During the negotiations, V. I. Solovyov presented the developments of the Faculty of ITaBDA in the field of agricultural robotic systems.
The meeting was held within the framework of the work of the Faculty of ITaBDA on the creation of an international consortium of universities interested in the development of artificial intelligence, big data analysis and intelligent robotic systems in agriculture. Following the negotiations, the Faculty of ITaBDA and WKAU agreed to sign an agreement on cooperation in the framework of educational programs and research activities. Teachers and researchers of WKAU will take part in the program of the Financial University “Visiting Professor”, as well as the preparation of large-scale joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence, the purpose of which is the sustainable development of agro-industrial complexes of Russia and Kazakhstan.
