A festive event dedicated to Republic Day, celebrated on October 25, was held at Zhangir Khan University under this title.
During the event, the Chairman of the Board – Rector, Askar Nametov, congratulated the faculty and students on the national holiday and noted that this year marks the 35th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty.
At the ceremony, the honorary badge “Excellence in Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was awarded to Yermek Aytaliyev, a long-serving teacher and scholar of the university. Several other faculty members and researchers also received letters of appreciation from regional and city akims, as well as the Rector’s Certificate of Honor.
The celebration was enriched with songs and dances performed by the university’s creative groups and talented students.
