A meeting with veterans of the oil and gas industry was held at Zhangir khan university.
The head of the branch of the West Kazakhstan region «Society of petroleum geologists of Kazakhstan» Abylkasym Batyrov and the director of the regional branch of the republican public association «Veterans of the Oil and gas complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan» Baltabek Makhuov, the teaching staff and students of the educational programs B071 – «Mining and mining», B271-«Oil and gas business» were invited as guests.
The veterans shared their professional experience, talked about difficulties and ways out of them. Also, based on the dialogue between teachers and veterans, practical orientation was given to research and design work in the industry.
During the meeting, the veterans presented several copies of books about the discoverers of oil and gas fields in Kazakhstan to the library fund of Zhangir khan university.
